Work You’ll Do

As an HR Strategy Senior Manager, you will use your knowledge of and experience with HR strategy, capability, and service delivery to optimize business results and customer experience by:

  • Leading all aspects of the project, including monitoring and identifying any project issues to mitigate risk while ensuing exemplary delivery of work

  • Cultivating and maintaining long term relationships with clients to become a "go-to" resource for HR strategy knowledgeStaying well-informed on current Human Capital leading practices and market trendsUtilizing your leadership experience to mentor, train and develop other members of the HRS&S practiceLeading business development efforts, including Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, and client presentations

  • Leading practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.

  • Building your brand within the firm and in the market for the strong HR Strategy & Capability knowledge you possess

  • Championing and supporting a culture of diversity and inclusiveness for Deloitte practitioners

HR Strategy & Solutions (HRS&S)

New technologies, platforms, processes and systems are meaningless without the capability to leverage them to the fullest. Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with several year of external consulting experience (big firm or boutique)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR functions & processes, with experience in multiple of the following areas: HR Strategy, HR Employee Experience, HR Operating Models, HR Process Automation, HR Digital Strategy and Solutions

  • Experience in carrying a business development quota for consulting work, ramping up pursuit teams and leading end-to-end business development pursuits

  • Experience in project planning, budget oversight and staffing of project teams including time management and quality assurance for large complex clients/projects

  • Demonstrated confidence and maturity to work with senior executives

  • Demonstrated high degree of emotional intelligence and cultural awareness to effectively manage global clients and diverse project teams

  • Experience in leading and driving RFPs, RFIs, scoring and evaluating products and services

  • Experience driving team performance resulting in alignment with project vision and strategy

  • Experience in mentoring, training and developing members of the team and participating in a performance review process

  • Completed Bachelors’ degree

  • Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

  • Well-developed industry alignment (Consumer, Financial Services, Life Science & Healthcare, Energy, Resources & Industrial, and/or Technology, Media & Telecommunications)

  • Agile and creative mindset when problem solving and troubleshooting on client issues

  • Advanced degree in related specialization area

  • Demonstrated interest in a profession in Human Resources through professional organizations, coursework, certifications, conference attendance, etc.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel)
