We are looking for a detail oriented, well organized individual to work at our Billing Hub located in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will be a highly efficient, self-motivated individual who has strong verbal and written communication skills. The essential responsibilities of the Documentation Specialist include, but are not limited to:

· Having a strong knowledge of specific medical coverage and documentation guidelines for various commercial insurance plans for respiratory services, home medical equipment and supplies.

  • Review and request appropriate medical documentation according to insurance coverage requirements from physicians and clinical staff to ensure patient qualifies for medical services.

  • Follow up with internal customers via phone, fax, email, etc. regarding outstanding documentation.

  • Verify insurance coverage information, billing documents for accuracy and completeness.

  • Provide instruction to employees on proper documentation completion.

This position requires someone that is detail oriented with strong computer experience. Experience with Medical billing and insurance is preferred. We have a great team environment and are looking for a strong team member that wants to grow.
