Jana Chapman with Robert Half Finance & Accounting wants to hear from you if you're a Financial Analyst with effective communication skills. We're looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, but can also take initiative and work independently. Financial Analyst candidates will be interested in this opportunity if they have a strong command of finance, but enjoy digging into the system and acting as a business partner to a global company. If selected, you will be the SME in the ERP software and help implement, test and coordinate system activities. The Financial Analyst will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This role provides an exciting opportunity to perform in a business partner capacity and support the finance department of a growing company. Major responsibilities

  • Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations

  • Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

  • Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

  • Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)

  • Produce and monitor forecasting reports

  • Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P&L forecasting

  • Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

Requirements

  • Experience in problem solving with large data sets (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement

  • Able to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

  • Account Coding experience

  • Command of financial reporting

  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is required

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • BA/BS degree in finance, MIS or Economics or a related field

  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
