Interim CFO

job summary:

Tatum is seeking an Interim CFO for a exciting opportunity with a smaller PE backed food/beverage manufacturer and distributor in Portland, OR.

This role would oversee an established accounting department of 7 with strong accounting backgrounds.

location: Portland, Oregon

job type: Contract

salary: $125 - 130 per hour

work hours: 8 to 5

education: Bachelor's degree

experience: 10 Years

responsibilities:

This Interim CFO will be tasked with reviewing manufacturing and distribution processes to improve throughput, profitability, and ultimately improve financial visibility.

In addition, the Interim CFO will work closely with the founder and PE sponsor to drive key strategic initiatives.

In order to be successful in the role, the Interim CFO must be able to spend time at the manufacturing facility to meet key members of the operations team and evaluate processes. After rapport is established this person can work remotely.

qualifications:

Key attributes of a successful CFO in this role are:

  • PE CFO experience

  • Manufacturing experience is a must

  • Bottling experience is a plus

  • Understanding of throughput costing and margins

  • High EQ leader
