Perspecta has an exciting opportunity for an experienced System Administrator professional with large-scale program experience to support a program for the United States Army Corps of Engineers USACE) as a System Administrator on a contract under which Perspecta will provide enterprise IT operations support. Responsible for configuring, operating, and maintaining the customer’s Systems Engineering business process tools to support processes to include configuration management, risk, issue and opportunity management, schedule management, architecture management, and requirements management and provides system administrator functions for the tools. The Digital Engineering Team also provides user training on systems engineering business process tools and has a large emphasis on identify opportunities to optimize systems and tool execution through automating processes, consolidating or migrating existing tools, and/or acquiring new tools.
Active secret clearance
Requires 8 to 10 years with BS or 6 to 8 years with MS or 3 to 5 years with PhD.
BS Degree in Computer Science or a related field (IT/Engineering/etc.).
Must have an active Secret clearance and Security + Certification.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with team lead to prioritize tasks.
Well-rounded working knowledge of IT concepts and best practices.
Experience analyzing COTS software capabilities to aid tool integration.
Experience configuring COTS software to fit customers’ requirements and processes.
