Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Logistics Coordinator. If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!

The Logistics Coordinator aims to provide each customer with the highest level of customer service. The goal is to support the successful execution of the delivery only process, the delivery and installation process and all product service events or instances. They do so, by staying engaged in the entire life cycle of the installation, and by frequently interacting with the Sales Department, the subcontractors and of course, the customer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive work order (request for action) from sales via email

  • Review and modify (as needed) work orders (event requests) for accuracy of scope, clarity, required dates, customer contact information, and product availability.

  • Contact customers for scheduling of events: Pre-site, Delivery, Installation, & Service

  • Update appliance installation calendar (dashboard) with pertinent job condition & supporting correspondence

  • Delegate work to subcontractor base: coordinate material availability & scheduling

  • Receive pre-site notes, exit checklist, change orders, pictures, and invoices for storage & processing

  • Customer advocacy:

  • Point of contact for questions, concerns, and/or complaints about service received

  • Execute prescribed escalation protocol(s) as needed

Qualifications

  • 3 years of relative administrative or scheduling experience is preferred.

  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills

  • General computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Ambition to succeed

  • Self-Motivator
