This role will be responsible for supporting data & analytics solutions with a focus on customer segmentation, customer behavior, outreach strategies and channel optimization, customer experience, marketing strategy improvement, and process improvement for operational departments, for the benefit of Executive Management, Marketing, Sales, Actuarial and other internal customers.
Primary Functions:1. Develop and implement data solutions and statistical models to impact business decisions with minimal supervision, for the benefit of Marketing, Sales, Actuarial and other departments. 2. Gather business requirements, design data structures, and develop code if needed to manage and report data using a diverse set of tools.3. Collect, cleanse, analyze and provide data for company retention, sales and marketing efforts.4. Perform other duties as assigned. Are you ready to be a betterist? MS in Marketing Sciences, Statistics, Data Science or related field or equivalent experience required.
5+ years of experience with campaigns surveys, geographic coding, triggered campaigns required.
5+ years of experience with qualitative analysis and strategy improvement projects required.
10+ years of experience collaboratively developing analytics and reporting solutions for marketing preferred.
10+ years of experience manipulating large data sets using relational databases and/or data analysis tools such as R Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL Server, Oracle, or other similar applications preferred.
Experience interpreting and developing predictive/statistical models required.
Some experience analyzing consumer behaviors using modern data science techniques preferred.
Experience collecting, cleansing and validating large volumes of data to support marketing or sales campaigns preferred.
Experience with matching learning concepts like regression, classification, clustering, etc. preferred.
Experience with process improvement projects preferred.
Experience communicating with an audience of diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
Ability to create and maintain accurate and auditable documentation.
Demonstrated ability to complete projects in a timely fashion.
Ability to work well under pressure in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
