SERA Architects, Inc. Office Services Assistant in Portland, Oregon
Under supervision of the Sr. Executive Assistant, this employee provides housekeeping, reception and back-office support for the smooth operations of the company. This position provides general administrative support to SERA staff and assists in special projects as needed. The position includes general office housekeeping duties, miscellaneous errands (in and out of office), and on-call assistance.

Duties and Responsibilities
Kitchen maintenance including (but not limited to):
Loading and unloading industrial dishwashers multiple times a day
Distributing dishes between four kitchens, including walking up and down stairs carrying dishes multiple times a day
Ability to work with low supervision to maintain kitchen inventory and cleanliness
Catering support ? maintenance of conference rooms, beverages, and set up/break down of catering as appropriate.
The procuring and stocking of kitchen and catering supplies and orders.
Manage SERA laundry.
Misc. errand support for SERA staff.
Provide on call admin support and coverage as needed when staff is sick, on vacation, etc..
Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, other Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Preferred proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Valid driver?s license and good driving record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
Ability to perform a high degree of physical activity several hours every day including; walking, lifting and climbing several flights of stairs.
Professional demeanor in person and over the phone.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
Ability to work collectively with the administrative team associates.
Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds.
