Functions/Duties of Position

A Post-doctoral researcher position is available in the Blood-Brain Barrier (BBB) and Neuro-oncology program in the department of Neurology at OHSU working directly with Dr. Leslie Muldoon under the direction of Dr. Edward Neuwelt. The applicant will work on laboratory projects involving analysis of brain microenvironment, brain immunology and BBB function in the setting of brain cancer. The research will include both basic science and animal research.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in biological sciences
  • Knowledge and experience in protein, genetic and immunological analyses
  • Technical expertise in areas including in vitro biology, immunohistochemistry and fluorescent microscopy
  • Excellent writing and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with "R" and GSEA
