New System Laundry LLC Production Warehouse Supervisor in Portland, Oregon
New System is looking for the next experienced leader to join our team. The right person for this position would be responsible for leading the production shift, keeping the flow of production moving to meet daily production goals, as well as communicating instructions and tasks to team members (sorters, wash alley operators, iron operators, packaging and loading personnel), often through language barriers. High level communication and problem solving skills are a must.We offer:
$50,000 to $55,000 salary DOE

We require:
Shift: Monday - Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
At least two years of supervisory experience in a production environment
Must work well with others, give and take direction well
General computer and software literacy and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Be able to stand for majority of shift, lift up to 50 pounds and reach/push/pull overhead
Speak, read and write English proficiently
Must respect and uphold safety rules and direct others to work safely
Must complete a criminal background screen and pre-employment drug screen post job offer
