OfficeTeam Portland is looking for a talented and experienced recruiter to support the Human Resources department at a large company in the heart of Portland. You will be in charge of providing full-cycle recruitment for the company by using internal and external resources to recruit, screen, and then recommend candidates for hire.

In this role, you must develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies that bring in the best and brightest talent. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a high attention to detail. It will be your responsibility to do everything it takes to acquire highly skilled talent, from scheduling and conducting interviews, to onboarding and orienting.

How you will make an impact:

Execute full-cycle recruiting efforts through active and passive recruiting techniques

Develop and streamline recruitment strategies

Coordinate all external recruitment efforts (expos, fairs, etc.)

Write, edit and review job postings

Screen resumes and applications

Consistently communicate with candidates to keep them updated on their applications

Provide highly detailed information about the company’s facility and job opportunities to candidates

Schedule and coordinate pre-employment testing and screening

Coordinate and conduct interviews

Check references, arrange background checks, and coordinate I-9/new hire documentation

Facilitate and oversee new-hire onboarding and orientation

Maintain/develop partnerships with outside employment agencies

Perform other related duties as required or assigned


What we're looking for:

Bachelor's degree

Full-cycle, high volume recruiting experience

Experience onboarding candidates and conducting pre-employment verification

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail

Impeccable organization skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high activity environment

Knowledge of labor & employment laws

Knowledge of personnel practices

Ability to utilize various software and social media for recruitment

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships

Microsoft office proficiency

Experience and familiarity with Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity protocols
