Kforce has a client looking for a SalesForce Administrator in Portland, Oregon (OR).Summary:The Salesforce Administrator will work as part of our client's team dedicated to implementing the new Salesforce platform - ensuring that they are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs. They are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who will partner with the project manager to interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, and interface with the implementation partner to communicate those needs in the to implement and administer the system and its features accordingly. This person will serve as the "go to" for users, promote adoption, keep current on new releases and AppExchange solutions, provide training, and more. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the platform.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment

  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks

  • Partner with vendor for new system configuration and deployment

  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades

  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other third-party integrations

  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests

  • Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities

  • Assist in training of new users, and support the Salesforce skill set across the organization

  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements

  • Minimum expectation of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience

  • 3 to 5 years of Salesforce administration experience

  • Salesforce.com Administrator certification

  • Must be experienced with Salesforce Service Cloud and Community Cloud and understand the general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

  • Proactive, organized and logical problem-solvers

  • Computer literate and proficient in standard office applications Word, Excel and Outlook

  • In-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of Service Cloud and Community Cloud and have successfully expanded on those capabilities and/or integration with external systems

  • Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard Salesforce.com reporting functionality

  • Previous re-engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced functions
