Sue Sumrell is recruiting for a Senior Accountant for a full-time opportunity in a manufacturing company with a truly green footprint!, As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for monthly close, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance. You will be the right hand to the Controller and will be a part of building out processes and implementing strong GAAP practices. This position comes with a strong compensation and benefits package, including a long-term potential opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities include:

• Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Provide support on special requests

• Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

• Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

Requirements

• Must have excellent time management skills

• ERP system experience - Dynamics GP highly preferred

• BA/BS in Accounting

• 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment

• Command of general ledger

• GAAP Accounting experience

• Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

• Great attention to detail

• Self-starter and strong ethical standards

• Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
