Providence Weight Loss Program Specialist in Portland, Oregon
Description:
Providence is calling a Weight Loss Program Specialist - Weight Loss Services Clinic (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.
We are seeking a Weight Loss Program Specialist - Weight Loss Services that will
coordinate and execute the overall operation of the weight loss program. This role will support the entire program staff in functioning as a multi-disciplinary team.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Enrollment process
Manage phone and walk-in inquiries/referrals
Maintain Inquiry Tracking Forms (ITF)
Maintain databases
Manage all pre- and post-orientation procedures
Present new patient orientations
Ensure that adequate clinical evaluation and physical examination appointments are available
Review Program
Financial tracking and management
Track and collect patient fees
Enter and reconcile daily financial transactions
Make daily bank deposits (if applicable)
Enforce fee and meal replacement purchase compliance
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
Manage petty cash
Review and process accounts payable invoices
Monitor expenses
Monitor billing/collections/account receivable.
Inventory Management
Count and reconcile HMR meals (consistency in description of MRs) inventory (weekly)
Order HMR meals (weekly)
Maintain supplies, materials, and equipment
Collection and analyze patient data
Compile and summarize marketing and operations data (monthly)
Complete and review annual Program Audit
Review data monthly in staff meeting
General Operations
Liaison for Program
Organize and maintain staff and clinic schedules
Provide a schedule that includes: o Orientations
Patient groups
Quick Start® Calls
Prepare and facilitate staff and patient care meetings
Attend monthly call with HMR Account Manager
Attend HMR trainings
Marketing & Communication
Customize and implement the HMR Quarterly Marketing Plan
Coordinate program marketing efforts
Communicate and delegate marketing efforts to staff members
Work with facility marketing department to promote the program
Communicate with Health Educators to manage Patient Changes of Status
Communicate with medical staff to ensure proper charging of services
Communicate with leadership about program performance on an ongoing basis
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position includes:
High School Diploma -OR- GED -OR- equivalent education/experience
Three (3) years relevant experience working with customers
Ability to analyze information gathered by investigation, and report findings and recommendations
Strong verbal communication and listening skills, and the ability to effectively build relationships with customers
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree in related field
Healthcare experience
