Marvin Window & Door Project Manager in Portland, Oregon


The Field Operations Manager will have overall responsibility in the Portland metropolitan area for all aspects of the installation experience for the direct-to-consumer sales and installation business . The Field Operations Manager will personally do some installation and service work in addition to managing and supervising installation contractors.

Job Expectations:

  • Represent company professionally delivering outstanding customer experience.

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of measurement, ordering, scheduling and the installation process.

  • Source and supervise in-market independent installation contractors and their work.

  • Coordinate and communicate with installation crews on specific job requirements.

  • Train and support proper installation of a product using the manufacturer’s required installation methods and techniques.

  • Manage warehousing of products and installation materials and coordinate delivery to the jobsite.

  • Set the standard and drive installation team culture comprised of positivity, efficiency, and a customer-first mindset.

  • Be dependable and punctual with appointments, documentation, and commitments.

Desired Experience / Skills / Qualifications

  • Multiple years experience in the skilled construction trades especially carpentry, window replacement, framing, door installation, cabinet installation mix of management and hands-on work preferred

  • High school degree or equivalent, bachelor’s degree a plus

  • 2+ years of experience working and problem solving directly with customers/homeowners

  • 2+ years of experience managing a service team

  • Experience in Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook and CRM

  • Able to lift, push/pull, and carry at least 40lbs

  • Able to stand for at least 6 hours per day

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Strong preference for individual with, or willing to obtain, following licenses/certifications:

  • Oregon Construction Contractors Board License

  • Washington State Labor & Industries Contractor License

  • EPA LRRP / Lead-Safe Certification

  • OSHA 10 Certification

  • Installation Masters Certification
