Are you qualified to provide management, coordination, and oversight to a broad range of Medicaid and other publicly funded mental health and Substance Use Disorder services for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families? OHA wants you to be part of its team! What you will do! You will participate in managing and improving the Children's Behavioral Health System! You will provide oversight to a variety of community-based outpatient services and regional facility-based services! You will directly supervise staff and manages the implementation of trauma informed Medicaid and non-Medicaid prevention and early intervention services! You will be accountable for the establishment of program services funded by the Legislature and, in some cases, mandated by the Medicaid State Plan and matched with federal Medicaid dollars! You will partner with other child serving state agencies to support children receiving the right service, at the right time, for the right duration to help children be at home, in school and in their community! WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 'Three years of management experience in a public or private organization which included responsibility for each of the following: a) development of program rules and policies, b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans, c) program evaluation, and d) budget preparation. (Note: One year of experience may be substituted with 45-48 quarter hours (30-32 semester hours) of graduate level coursework in management.) 'OR Three years of professional experience as a program/project leader, assigning and reviewing work of professional staff (e.g., engineers, etc.) including project responsibility for a) developing goals and objectives, b) project evaluation, and c) monitoring and controlling or preparing a budget. 'Experience in advancing health equity, addressing systemic health disparities and collaborating with diverse, vulnerable and underrepresented populations. 'Hold an LCSW, LPC or related degree with direct care and management experience in children's mental health. 'Experience with supervising staff, interviewing, hiring new staff, and developing professional development plans. 'Knowledge and experience of program and policy impact, outcome and data tracking for children's mental health programs and assisting in the removal of barriers to desired quality, performance and unit goals. 'Experience writing and coordinating professional level reports, policy papers, audit responses, external facing program and policy materials/website that include national research and data when necessary. 'Possess recent, relevant knowledge of assessment, diagnosis and treatment of behavioral health conditions in children, adolescents, and young adults and a broad understanding of evidence-based practices. 'Knowledge and experience with children's System of Care values and principles. 'Knowledge and experience with trauma informed principles and racial equity as it relates to children's behavioral health.
