DealerPolicy is looking for a computer savvy Insurance Agent with their current P&C license, 2+ years of insurance sales experience and strong phone closing skills to join our personal lines insurance team. If you’re a current insurance agent with a high gear and a heavy emphasis working as a producer, you’ll likely have a strong interest in this position which is remote based (home office) and located in the Salem, OR area.

Job Overview

As an Insurance Agent, you will analyze, advise, and sell insurance policies to customers with the support of DealerPolicy’s cutting edge technology product. This includes:

(1) Handling an average of 150 inbound leads per month with real-time buyers/policyholders

(2) Continuously using our carrier systems while preparing & cross-selling personalized quotes

(3) Providing superior advice and recommendations to our customers and clients

(4) Closing sales at a strong conversion rate of the high-volume inbound leads you receive

(5) You’ll realize a very competitive compensation for sales closers who convert at strong levels

Requirements

  • Must have a valid Property and Casualty insurance license

  • 2+ years of Insurance sales experience

  • Superior personal lines insurance knowledge

  • Proven ability to be persuasive; persistent and confident in closing a sale

  • Self-driven initiative to continuously follow up with warm leads to drive deals to completion

  • Confident self-started who works well independently in fast paced setting

  • Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong attention to detail with time management and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience selling insurance at an Independent Agency

  • Prior experience with AMS360 and PL Rater

  • Fluent Spanish speaking skills
