Your Role With Us:

As a Respiratory Therapist you will join a large department who assess and treat patients afflicted with acute and chronic breathing issues. This position will report directly to one of our Respiratory Supervisors and will be working closely with our team to care for a wide range of patient populations, from neonates to adult.

Core Functions:

  • This position will enjoy utilizing many respiratory modalities, including:

  • Aerosol therapies

  • BIPAP/CPAP

  • Ventilators

  • High Flow oxygen therapy

  • Opportunities to train in pulmonary function testing and bronchoscopies.

Background/Expertise:

  • Have a High school diploma or equivalency is mandatory; successful completion of a minimum of 2 years of college education including Associate degree or Bachelor degree is preferred.

  • Are Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner as recognized by the NBRC.

  • Possess a valid Oregon license to practice as an RCP in Oregon.

  • Possessed BLS credentials from the AHA.

  • Demonstrate good organizational, technical and communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work both within a team setting and independently, utilizing time effectively with a minimum of supervision.

  • Are familiar with hospital ethics and protocols, departmental procedures and policies.
