Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - Minimum eighteen (18) years of age - Minimum six (6) months window installer experience OR six (6) months experience in a construction trade - Read a tape measure Preferred (not required): - Bilingual in English / Spanish - Valid driver's license Employer Notes: - Veteran's are encouraged to apply - Employer states the ideal applicant will have a methodical and thorough approach to work, excellent organizational skills with ability to problem solve, multi-task, prioritize work and stay calm under pressure, be motivated with a strong work ethic, and have a high attention to detail - Work outdoors in all types of weather and terrain; including crawl spaces - Customary hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM or longer depending on employer needs; overtime may be required during busy season with occasional Saturday's - Employer conducts a drug screen and a background check before first day of employment Job Duties: - Provide outstanding customer service - Install structures or fixtures ' windows, frames, trim or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools - Install other weather proofing products such as window flashing, caulking, and foam, using carpenters' hand or power tools - Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, prepare worksite, erect scaffolding or ladders - Load and unload trucks / trailers at job locations or warehouse - Lift up to eighty (80) of wood, windows, hardware, tools and supplies - Coordinate with other workers for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently - Inspect for damaged structures and report to window team leader - Complete daily paperwork; time worked, materials loaded, materials used or returned to inventory - Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program - Ensure job sites are clean at the end of each day and completion of job - Come to work each day to fulfill customer contracts and achieve 100% customer satisfaction - Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Language skill requirement or preference: Able to speak Spanish preferred. Able to read Spanish preferred. Able to write Spanish preferred.
