Overview

The role of the Greeter is to provide excellent customer service to Natural Grocers customers.The Greeter will greet customersas they enter and leave the store,encourage customers to wear a mask or face protection when shopping with us, thank customers for shopping with usas they exit the store andclean used shopping carts and hand baskets.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class customer service to all customers

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store

• Provide customers general direction to product and department location

• Answer customer questions or direct them to someone who can

• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction

• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits or able to ask for assistance from management

• General cleaning and sanitization of shopping carts, hand baskets and all other required cleaning procedures

• Alert store management to issues at the front-end of the store

Although this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be “hands on” and do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the company thrive.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred

• Must have friendly and kind approach to customer service

• Ability and willingness to ask customers to wear a mask when shopping with us

• Ability to work at front-end of the store in varying temperatures

• Attentive and assertive

• Flexible schedule
